Holiday lodge site, Dyemill Lodges, on the Isle of Arran, has been brought to market for offers over £395k.

The 1.70-acre rural site, which consists of six self-catering holiday lodges near the village of Lamlash, benefits from a tranquil setting within the mature woodland along the banks of the Monahmore Burn.

Lamlash has two hotels, The Glenisle, and Lamlash Bay Hotel, two pubs, The Pierhead Tavern and The Drift Inn, a local church, a newsagent, a chemist, a medical centre, the only hospital on the island and the Co-op. 

Dyemill Lodges was originally planned as a holiday destination with 10 lodges, though currently there are only six self-catering, Scandinavian-style pine lodges, each accommodating four persons. 

The rural site offers excellent growth potential to add a further four lodges and two static caravans. In addition, there is approved planning in place for an attractive two/three-bedroom manager’s accommodation.

Anthony Zdanowicz, commercial property associate at DM Hall, said: “The site and lodges offer an ideal proposition for those looking to run a business on the island, offering a lifestyle change in what is a very popular tourist destination and sector of the hospitality industry.

“There is excellent growth potential by utilising the planning for more accommodation and to extend the operating season, which at present is between March and October.”
