The Three Shires Inn in Ambleside, Cumbria has been brought to market with a guide price of £2.1m.
The inn includes 10 individually themed bedrooms which have been decorated to a very high standard.
The property also has a traditional lounge and restaurant area featuring beamed ceilings and log-burning stoves.
Also included in a separate adjacent property is a four-bedroom owners’ accommodation which a new owner may wish to use as additional letting accommodation.
The Three Shires has been owned and operated by Anthony Guthrie and James Wilkinson since 2018.
Wilkinson said: “The Three Shires Inn is a great little business in a truly magical location. We have been privileged to run it for the last six years.”
Keith Stringer, business agent at Christie and Co which is handling the sale, added: “The Three Shires is a hospitality gem offering the opportunity to purchase an established and highly profitable freehold business in an idyllic honey pot location.”
