Dormy House appoints new spa manager

In this episode we speak to brothers Alex and Adrien Grosjean, young entrepreneurs who have recently acquired The Residence Inn by Marriott Manchester Piccadilly. The house spa at Dormy House has recently appointed Sara Grundy as new spa manager after a recent unveiling of a new thermal suite and treatments.

After starting her career in wellness as a self-employed beauty therapist in 2008, Grundy has continued to grow within the industry. Having now seven years of experience at Dormy House and an extensive knowledge of the spa industry, her new senior management position will bring expertise in treatments, trends and service at the Farncombe managed hotel.

Dormy House is a “rural retreat” located in the village of Broadway which provides three types of scandi-inspired accommodation – rooms, suites, and hot tub suites – located across the estate.

Regarding her appointment, Grundy said: “I firmly believe that it is the team that makes the spa and I really want to use my knowledge of the last 16 years being in this industry to pass on to the next generation of therapists here. To really focus on building and developing the great team we have.

“We have just had a beautiful refurbishment in our spa which our guests are loving, so my main prerogative is to make sure we are making the guests’ experience as memorable as possible.”
