South View Lodges in the Devonshire countryside has been brought to the market for the first time in 15 years.

Located four miles from Exeter City Centre, the resort sits within six acres of managed woodlands and lakes.
The lakeside retreat offers guests a luxury self-catering accommodation across six bespoke lodges.

Each lodge features a large open-plan kitchen and wood-burning stove, living room, double bedrooms, and private balconies with sunken hot tubs overlooking the lakes.

The business is currently owned and operated by Andrew and Jill Taylor, who are selling to focus on other interests.

They said: “We have thoroughly enjoyed starting this site from scratch 15 years ago and are proud of the business reputation we have built today. Hard work and determination have got us there.

“But we now feel as a family that it’s time for someone else to take on the business and grow it even further. It’s not been an easy decision to decide to sell, but with other family commitments involving care the decision is right for us, and we don’t feel there is a better time for some new blood to take over and take this business to the next level.”

Matthew McFarlane, business agent at Christie and Co who is handling the sale, added: “It is a pleasure to be instructed on such a fabulous business. The site is luxurious, beautifully looked after and in a peaceful setting overlooking the three lakes.

This business is perfect and ready for a new owner to take over and start operating without further capital expenditure.”
