Brend Collection unveils new spa at The Victoria Hotel in Sidmouth

In this episode we speak to Anthony Hunt, partner and co-head of Corporate Real Estate at law firm Howard Kennedy. We discuss why 2026 may be seen as a pivotal year for boutique hotels, unpack the rise of global nomadism and how this is shaping demand and trends across hospitality, and how a strong team and clear, consistent messaging and offerings are key to securing investment.

Brend Collection has unveiled its second Source Spa at The Victoria Hotel in Sidmouth, after six months of construction.

The spa features a heated indoor pool, a hydrotherapy spa bath, an aroma sauna, and a steam room. Meanwhile, the two treatment rooms offer a diverse range of Source Spa products.

Additionally, the hotel includes a relaxation area and a modern gym that is equipped with the “latest” fitness technology.

Alongside the new spa, the Victoria Hotel features 64 bedrooms, the Jubilee Restaurant and the White Room restaurant, and an 18-hole putting green.

The Brend Collection was founded in 1955 and now consists of 11 hotels throughout Devon and Cornwall.

Matthew Brend, director of Brend Collection, said: “Our team has worked hard behind the scenes to bring a brand new luxury Spa to the Victoria Hotel for guests to relax and recharge during their stay, as well as an exclusive membership offering.

“Since our first Source Spa at Saunton Sands Hotel was such a success, I’m confident the second edition will have the same impact and further strengthen the brand we look to continue growing across the Brend Collection.”
