Wyreside Hall and Estate in Lancashire has been brought to market for an undisclosed sum. The Grade-II listed Wyreside Hall, a 18th Century manor house, stands within approximately 150 acres of private grounds in the Lancashire countryside, offering views over the River Wyre.
The estate, which has undergone “extensive” renovation in recent years, includes an 11-bedroom country house hotel, five holiday cottages, and a two-bedroom gate house.
Each building has been “meticulously restored, blending historical character with modern amenities to create an inviting and luxurious atmosphere”.
The estate’s main hall features elegant spaces suitable for a range of uses, including lounges, a restaurant, bar, and event spaces that can be used for weddings and conferences. With planning permission already in place for a significant extension to the rear, including a new bedroom block and leisure complex, the property offers further potential for development.
The estate’s location in Dolphinholme is a short drive from the M6 motorway, and within easy reach of major cities such as Manchester, Preston, and Lancaster. The surrounding area is also close to popular tourist destinations including the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales.
Ryan Lynn, partner in Hotels at Knight Frank, said: “Our clients have lovingly restored Wyreside Hall to an exceptional standard, creating a unique blend of historic charm and modern luxury. This estate offers a rare opportunity to acquire a property with significant business potential in one of the most beautiful parts of the country.”
