A former DoubleTree by Hilton in Kensington, London, will be rebranded as the 100 Queen’s Gate Hotel, and will open in early 2019 following a multi-million-pound investment.
Part of Hilton’s Curio Collection, the transformation will restore much of the property’s 1870s architecture, and an additional 25 guest rooms will also be added as part of improvements, taking the hotel’s room count to 228.
The property will be situated in close proximity to attractions including the Natural History Museum, Kensington Palace, Hyde Park and Harrods, and is also located less than 500 metres from South Kensington London Underground station.
Aly Kassam, CEO at Crimson Hotels, said: “Building on our current portfolio, we are excited about the addition of 100 Queen’s Gate Hotel London, Curio Collection by Hilton to our UK portfolio and the strengthening of our ongoing partnership with Hilton. This is a unique opportunity to renovate and rebrand the hotel in keeping with its legacy as a Victorian period mansion.”
