Glasgow Marriott Hotel has completed its multi-million-pound refurbishment with the reopening of its Leisure Club, Fitness Centre, and spa facilities.
Marking the final phase of the hotel’s transformation, which was announced last year, the upgraded leisure amenities are now open to guests and members.
Guests and visitors can now access the Fitness Centre, featuring cardio and strength-training machines, free weights, and a dedicated studio space for personalised workouts and mat routines as well as personal training.
For those seeking relaxation, there’s a suite of sauna and steam rooms, and the Spa in the City, which offers a range of treatments from advanced facials to massage therapies.
Additionally, the refurbishment also includes a 12-metre indoor heated swimming pool surrounded by loungers.
The refurbishment is part of a broader transformation of the 303-room Glasgow Marriott Hotel, which included upgrades to guest rooms, the creation of six new Junior Suites, and the introduction of 75 Executive Rooms with exclusive access to the hotel’s Executive Lounge.
The hotel’s interiors now feature design elements inspired by the city’s “iconic” bridges, street murals, and artisan heritage.
Chris McGuinness, general manager of Glasgow Marriott Hotel, said: “Our newly renovated leisure and spa facilities reflect our commitment to offering guests more than just a place to stay – we provide a complete wellness experience. Whether you’re here for business, leisure, or a little of both, our enhanced amenities ensure that every guest leaves feeling refreshed and revitalised.”
