Hospitality company, Splendid Hospitality Group (SHG), has revealed a new brand identity and corporate website ahead of continued expansion, with a strong pipeline of properties being launched and renovated.
This week the group has unveiled a new visual identity that aims to put its staff, and the service they deliver, “at the very heart of their ambition to become the UK’s best hospitality company”.
The group added the new look, tone of voice, and values that reflect the ethos of a family-run hospitality business, with imagery that captures the “infectious smiles, and genuine warmth of both working at Splendid and creating a legacy by giving back to the communities they serve”.
This May, SHG will be opening the doors of the Ibis Styles in York after a multimillion-pound refurbishment which sits alongside the city’s only five-star property, The Grand, York as part of its portfolio.
Splendid employs over 300 people in York alone and this will grow to 350 people once Ibis Styles York officially launches.
SHG is also currently extending its five-star central London property – Hilton London Bankside. Due for completion in Q1 2025, 76 rooms are being added to the five-star Boghani Family marquee hotel. The property was recently awarded Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GTSC) certification and Hilton London Bankside is only one of two UK hotels to hold this status.
Rachel Bulford, chief commercial officer at Splendid Hospitality Group, said: “Our people are at the heart of the great hospitality we deliver across our hotels, restaurants and care homes every single day. So, it is only natural that we should celebrate our brilliant people by featuring them across all our marketing and communications, including in our new corporate website.
“We are proud to be creating a lasting legacy by investing in the hospitality sector and the communities we serve across the UK, generating new jobs and new opportunities for tourism. We employ over 2,500 incredible people delivering exceptional service. Our plans for the next 12 months further under-line our ambition to be the UK’s best hospitality company.”
