Sketchley Grange, a hotel and spa in Burbage, Hinckley, has announced a series of new appointments in its spa, wedding and conference teams.
Bringing a combined 35 years’ worth of experience to the Sketchley Grange team, the new appointments include Fiona Smith as spa manager, Sammy Preston as a wedding coordinator and Kelly Feeney as conference manager.
Smith said: “I worked as a spa therapist and manager for three years so making the move to Sketchley Grange was the next natural step in my career. I’m delighted to have joined such a hardworking and talented team and looking forward to seeing what I can bring to the table. The hotel is also currently undergoing some customers.”
Preston, joins the hotel from The Priest House Hotel and Donington Hall, where she planned and delivered hundreds of weddings and has just completed her first wedding fayre at Sketchley Grange, which took place on 24 February.
Preston said: “I absolutely love being able to help create that wow moment for couples on their special day. The advice I would give to any bride or groom looking to book a wedding venue is to visit a venue more than once, make sure that no stone is unturned and ask as many questions as you can.”
Feeney added: “I love working in a customer environment and delivering a five star memorable service, which is what Sketchley Grange is all about.
“I’m so pleased that I can be a part of such a fantastic team and really get stuck into making lasting experiences for guests here at the hotel. There are lots of exciting ideas and I’m looking forward to what the year has to offer.”
