De Vere Cotswold Water Park, part of De Vere’s collection of country estates, has announced the appointment of Michael Lavizani as general manager.
De Vere Cotswold Water Park is located on Lake 6, among the 152 lakes that make up the Cotswold Water Park area. De Vere Cotswold Water Park’s Conference Centre offers 21 flexible meeting spaces which can host up to 400 delegates.
The hotel has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment, which has seen the renovation of its family apartments and luxury bedrooms; The Old Boathouse Restaurant and Bar; the reception and lobby areas as well as seeing the introduction of The Muddy Duck Café.
Lavizani has more than 28 years’ experience in the hospitality and hotel industries, since first starting his career at Bovey Castle. He was also previously GM at Shrigley Hall Hotel Golf and Country Club, and before the move to the Cotswolds, he was at the helm of the DoubleTree by Hilton Forest Pines Spa and Golf Resort.
