Global research and consulting firm Great Place to Work has announced that Hilton has been ranked as the second best place to work for women in the UK.
The list which recognises companies that have “exceptional workplace cultures” has also named the hotel brand as the highest ranking hospitality company.
Hilton said it was “proud” to support its team members in achieving their career ambitions, and was “committed” to maintaining a diverse workforce. Earlier this year, the company signed the Women in Hospitality 2020 charter, which highlights its ongoing commitment to driving the diversity agenda forward.
Kay Harriman, senior director HR, UK and Ireland, said: “As a global hospitality company serving guests in 113 countries and territories across the world, our diverse workforce is fundamental to the success of our business.
“We are proud of the culture we have created, and are fully committed to building an environment in which all our team members can thrive, progress and maximise their potential – whatever their ambitions.
She added: “As such, we’re delighted to be recognised by Great Place to Work as the #2 best workplace for women in the UK rankings – making us the highest ranking hospitality company in our category.”
