Selina, the experience-led hospitality group targeting the “modern nomadic traveller”, has made its UK debut in Manchester with the launch of Selina NQ1 Manchester.

Located in the heart of the city’s Northern Quarter the property offers an “eclectic range” of spaces including a restaurant, bar, coffee shop, Irish pub and a basement club, the property also features 37 uniquely designed private rooms, suites and shared rooms.

The first UK location for the Latin-American startup was designed to reflect Manchester’s “creative spirit” with interior designer Lorna Keller working closely with local artists and the community to source artwork and materials that represent and embrace the local talent of Manchester.

Each of the 37 rooms has also been given a “quirky Latin-American twist”, offering something new and unique to the accommodation sector in the city.

Selina’s head of country UK, Erwin de Jong Oliveira, said, “Being able to bring Selina to Manchester is such an exciting opportunity, we wanted to blend Selina’s Latin American roots with the rich history of Manchester to infuse the aesthetics together and provide a hub for digital nomads around the world.”
