Kingston’s Holiday Inn will transform into a new modern riverside Crowne Plaza in January 2020.
The 121-room four-star property is located just 25 minutes from Gatwick airport and will be designed with business travellers in mind.
It will also feature meetings and conference facilities including five meeting rooms with space for up to 250 guests, a “high-class” restaurant, a fitness centre and public areas including a lobby. Ready for the “new generation of business travellers”.
Crowne Plaza said the new hotel will focus on “wellbeing for business”.
The hotel group added that business ready services will include complimentary high-speed Wifi, a brand new Club Lounge for IGH program members, fitness and wellness facilities and services and a “unique” new 360 restaurant serving international tapas and a variety of other creations.
Crowne Plaza is owned by Intercontinental Hotel Group (IHG) and currently operates around 3,600 hotel in over 100 countries across the globe.
