The Beaucliffe Hotel in Salford, Greater Manchester, has been brought to market off a guide price of £1.1m.
The family-run, semi-detached hotel which features 21 en-suite-bedrooms has been owned by Nasser Deen and his family for the past 16 years and is now offered for sale, after seeking to retire.
Commenting on the announcement, Deen said: “It has been an incredible journey but due to unforeseen circumstances we are retiring. We feel that the Beaucliffe Hotel is a great opportunity and we are willing to offer an incoming operator support in their new endeavour.”
Senior business agent at Christie and Co, Tom O’Malley, who is also handling the sale, said: “The Deen family have operated The Beaucliffe Hotel as a lifestyle business, which provides potential purchasers with a wealth of opportunities to drive revenue.
“Furthermore, there is expired planning permission for an additional property to be constructed in the grounds of the hotel. An incoming operator may wish to revisit this as the hotel’s favourable location would lend itself to redevelopment into either apartments or holiday lets, subject to obtaining the relevant planning consent.”
