Treehouse London has opened its doors at Langham Place hotel in Marylebone.
The new hotel, which is run by private investment firm Starwood Capital Group, will operate the hotel which features Mexican restaurant, Toca Madera, alongside rooftop bar “The Nest,” which features a 360-degree views of central London.
It will feature 95 guestrooms, including 15 suites and has been inspired by childhood and includes guestrooms with cuckoo clocks and sleeping bag throws. Resident horticulturalists are also featured to give tours of local gardens, book clubs and poetry slams.
The hotel is designed with exposed wood and branches mimicking the feel of an “actual treehouse.”
CEO and chairman of Starwood Capital Group, Barry Sternlicht said: “I believe Treehouse, with its unique philosophy and playful aesthetic, will introduce a new kind of hospitality experience to the London market—fun, witty, surprising, and as much a destination for visitors as it is a local hangout.”
