The Village Inn brought to market for £1m

The Village Inn hotel has been brought to the property market by current owners Chris Cooper and Rachel Jameson for just over £1m.

The property is located near Petersfield in South Downs National Park, and the hotel was originally constructed in the 19th Century.

The boutique inn features 16 individually appointed rooms, each of which underwent a refurbishment in 2016 by local interior designer Rebecca Barnes. The site also features a bar and lounge which seats 20 guests.

The bar also features its own ‘gin shed’, which seats two to three guests and features over 25 individually chosen gins.

An on-site restaurant accommodates 40 covers and features locally sourced produce, while the property also includes a terrace and terrace parking for 27 vehicles.

Nick Earee from Fleurets, who are instructing the sale, said: “This boutique inn, in an affluent area, has strong profit performance.

“For the year ending December 2018, net turnover was £396,000 and an adjusted net profit of £105,000 however there is still scope for further growth and increased revenue.”
