According to Colliers International, which is handling the sale, the site is a “perfect location for domestic visitors as well as international tourists” due to its close proximity to Blenheim Palace, the Cotswolds, Oxford and Bicester Village.

In the year ended March 2019, the site provided more than £1m in net revenue, with 51% of the business from the profitable room lettings.

Peter Brunt, director of Hotels Agency for Colliers International said: “This is a rare opportunity to take on a business which is not only attractive to international tourists with a World Heritage site right next door, as well as the beautiful Cotswolds which is also a haven for UK visitors. It is a popular destination all year round.

“The hotel is beautifully presented and includes lots of period features, with modern comforts and design. The restaurant is frequented by guests and locals alike, and there are opportunities to tailor the business to your own needs.”
