Six hotel professionals awarded Master Innholders status

Half a dozen leading hotel management professionals have been awarded Master Innholders status.

Recognised as one of the ‘‘highest honours in hotel management’’, the group will assist the organisation’s efforts in “inspiring the next generation of hoteliers”.

Among those awarded were Andrew Brown, general manager at Fairmont Windsor Park, Andy Roger, resort director at Cameron House and Knut Wylde, general manager at The Berkeley.

The Master Innholders annually invites applicants to join its ranks, and is regarded as a standard bearer of the industry.

The organisation has been hosting ‘Leading through the Revival’, a programme of free webinars for industry professionals, which covers topics relating to opening hotels after lockdown and redundancy.

Danny Pecorelli, chairman of the Master Innholders and MD of Exclusive Collection, said: ‘‘After an incredibly challenging start to the year, I’m delighted to see our membership grow with these six dedicated professionals.

‘‘Now more than ever, we need to collaborate and develop together as an industry and I’m excited to work alongside these ambitious hoteliers and support our hospitality peers through our virtual events, educational programmes and mentoring opportunities.’’
