The Inn Collection Group, a pub company in the north of England, has acquired the Lindum Hotel St Anne’s for an undisclosed sum.
The hotel comprises 88 en-suite bedrooms and offers a variety of conference rooms and events spaces.
While the Lancashire hotel had been a family-run operation since the 1920s, the previous owners are “pleased” to see the establishment entering the hands of “an experienced operator”.
Dan Yates, owner of Lindum Yates and previous owner of the hotel, said: “We have been very lucky to have worked in such a stunning seaside location and have thoroughly enjoyed operating the hotel and watching it grow over the years.
“We are very pleased to be passing the business over to such an experienced operator who can take the hotel to the next level and benefit tourism within the local area.”
The acquisition brings the Inn Collection Group’s portfolio to 16, with sites across Northumberland, County Durham, Cumbria, and Yorkshire.
Sean Donkin, managing director at the group, said: “Despite the challenges Covid-19 continues to throw at the sector, 2020 continues to be a year of growth for our group.
“As well as mounting up our operations in the Lake District and Yorkshire, the purchase of the Lindum Hotel will see us expand our offering across the border into Lancashire.”
