In this episode we speak to brothers Alex and Adrien Grosjean, young entrepreneurs who have recently acquired The Residence Inn by Marriott Manchester Piccadilly. Accor has announced that it will launch a new iOS app, which will promote hotels and destinations and allow users to manage current bookings.

Accorhotels, which will be released by the end of April, will allow users to receive alerts about online check-in status, access information about their bookings, receive information about the hotel’s services, access an interactive map and access their loyalty card details.

Romain Roulleau, Accor’s SVP e-commerce and director of the “mobile first” program, said: “By launching this Accorhotels application for Apple Watch, Accor is establishing itself as an audacious digital hospitality player. This policy is part of the group’s digital plan, which aims to accompany the changeover to new mobile practices.

“Accor is thus fully embracing the era of connected wearables and adopting an ongoing improvement approach to this robust market trend so it can provide guests with a value-added service before, during and after their stay.”

The Accorhotels app will be available in 10 languages and will work in connection with its smartphone app.
