Staycity to expand Heathrow site
Aparthotel operator Staycity is set to expand its Heathrow site with 125 new apartments in March.
The extension, which will see the property move into neighbouring premises, will also include the addition of a guest lounge, cafe, breakfast area and terrace. The additional rooms will give the property a total of 269 one and two-bedroom studios.
The property – the second location to include a dedicated lounge area offering somewhere to work, meet and eat – also features a fitness room, guest laundry room, luggage lockers and a car park.
Tom Walsh, CEO, said: “We have had a high level of interest in Heathrow since we opened. There is a strong demand from those travelling in and out of Heathrow as well as those taking the mainline rail out of London Paddington and people working with or visiting the many businesses in the area.”
Earlier this month Staycity opened 170 new apartments in Birmingham’s Newhall Square, the companys second site in the city.
