Starwood Hotels & Resorts has re-launched the Sheraton London Park Lane hotel under its ‘premier tier’ brand, Sheraton Grand, following a multi-million pound refurbishment.

The 303-bedroom property in Mayfair has undergone a complete refurbishment of its guest rooms and public spaces, with the transformation including the addition of 43 Sheraton Club rooms and suites along with the exclusive Sheraton Club Lounge.

In addition to the Club rooms, the hotel’s 21 suites have been reconfigured to maximize space, with select rooms offering the option to connect adjoining suites, allowing for larger family travel.

The hotel’s Grand Suite features an entrance lobby, master bedroom, bathroom, and living and dining areas. Rooms are interconnected with double-width, sliding pocket doors, enabling the entire suite to be opened into a single space.

Elena Mendez, vice-president, Sheraton, Westin and SSB brands in Europe, Africa and Middle East, said the relaunch represents the Sheraton brand’s new “elevated and customised” approach to design.

She said: “The designation of the Sheraton Grand status heralds in a new era for the renovated hotel, becoming one of London’s emblematic historic hotels once again, further reinforcing Sheraton as a trusted voice in global travel.”

The Sheraton Grand London Park Lane joins just 32 other Sheraton Grand hotels around the world.
