Students can start a two-year hospitality management degree course at three different times during the year at the Edge Hotel School – the UK’s first hotel school based entirely in a fully operational commercial hotel.
Places are available for students to be able to start studying the fully accredited BA honours degree in September, January and May.
Edge Hotel School is backed by a number of big names from the hospitality industry like Laurent-Perrier, Churchill, Milsoms Hotels, Exclusive Hotels, Marriott International, Hilton Worldwide, BaxterStorey and Portico.
Principal of Edge Hotel School Alan Jenkins said: “The Edge Hotel School is offering unique opportunities to students who are looking for something slightly different and a practical course that allows them to learn on the job and prepares them for a successful career in the hospitality industry.
“We are the only place in the UK where students get the chance to help run a real, luxury hotel while studying for a university degree. Students will be joining at an incredibly exciting time with Wivenhoe House opening fully for the first time since a £10 million refurbishment.
“Students can also start on their courses at different times during the year to suit their needs. Because the course is two years this means students can still graduate at the same time as all their friends, even if they have taken time out from their studies to work, travel or pursue other projects.”
The fast-track BA (Hons) in Hotel Management and BA (Hons) in Culinary Management are awarded by the University of Essex.
