First ever Hospitality Technology Expo supported by industry’s big names

In this episode we speak to Anthony Hunt, partner and co-head of Corporate Real Estate at law firm Howard Kennedy. We discuss why 2026 may be seen as a pivotal year for boutique hotels, unpack the rise of global nomadism and how this is shaping demand and trends across hospitality, and how a strong team and clear, consistent messaging and offerings are key to securing investment.

Some of the biggest names in the hospitality sector have been confirmed as members of the advisory council for the first ever Hospitality Technology Expo.

Joining the advisory board of the expo is vice president, digital strategy and distributions at Kempinski Hotels Riko van Santen; director of revenue, EMEA at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group Christian Boerger; and chief information officer of the Thistle/Guoman Hotel Group Dipesh Joshi.

The Hospitality Technology Expo’s advisory board will decide upon the content of the event and provide expert advice to the organisers. Neil Murray of Hilton Worldwide, Timo Kettern of Westbridge Europe and Sean Graham for the PREM Group were all previously announced as advisory board members.

Event manager of Hospitality Technology Expo Claudia Harris said: “The inaugural Hospitality Technology Expo, taking place in February next year, will bring together Europe’s leading technology professionals working in, or looking to grow their business in, hospitality technology for the first time.

“It is no surprise that we have attracted some the biggest names in the sector to help shape the educational content of the show and we are confident that the format of the event will provide relevant networking opportunities and make the most efficient use of time for both suppliers and visitors. We are committed to providing the investment required to deliver a first class event, that will quickly become an industry must-attend.”

Hospitality Technology Expo will take place at Earls Court, London on 5 and 6 February 2013.
