Justin Pinchbeck, the chief operating officer of new hotel Beaverbrook is to leave this summer.
The Beaverbrook is yet to be opened, but Pinchbeck will stay to oversee its launch in June or July.
The hotel was once owned by Lord Beaverbrook, a good friend of Winston Churchill, and is due to be open to the public later this year.
The £90m luxury hotel and golf club is a grade II-listed mansion and has 18 bedrooms, a bar, a restaurant and a screening room. Its transformation to a hotel has been taking place for the last 14 months. During this time, the restaurant has been open to the public.
A new hotel manager is soon to be announced and Pinchbeck will continue to act as a consultant for Beaverbrook following his departure.
Pinchbeck said: “I am delighted with progress achieved at Beaverbrook and remain totally committed to supporting the directors and the fantastic team that we have built together whilst excited by the prospect of pursuing other interests.”
