An Oxfordshire pub and hotel has opened a riverside pagoda so it can stage weddings on the banks of the River Thames.
The Trout Inn, at Tadpole Bridge, in the Cotswolds, has opened the tiered outdoor structure, which can accommodate two registrars, bride and groom, and two witnesses, while a further 150 guests can watch from the garden seating on the banks of the river.
The venue also has five bedrooms and one suite, and breakfast, canapés, buffets and music are all available by arrangement with the pub and hotel.
The Good Pub Guide named the Trout Inn at Tadpole Bridge as “Oxfordshire’s Dining Pub of the Year 2013”, and it was also awarded “AA Pub of the Year 2010”.
