The Hotel Collection, represented by Savills, has sold the four-star Billesley Manor Hotel to an overseas private investor.
The Grade II property dates back to the 16th century and has 72 bedrooms, an AA rosette restaurant and a health club. It also has two bars and 10 conference rooms.
The sale of Billesley Manor Hotel leaves just Shrigley Hall Hotel to be sold from the original 10-strong portfolio of regional UK hotels, known as Project Solstice, which Savills are marketing on behalf of The Hotel Collection.
The hotel will now be managed by Bespoke Hotels.
Martin Rogers, head of UK hotel transactions at Savills, said: “We are pleased to have secured a new owner for Billesley Manor Hotel. The sale leaves just one property left from the Project Solstice portfolio, of which we expect a sale imminently.
“The UK regional hotel market continues to attract both overseas investors and high net worth individuals looking for smaller lot sizes and long term income.”
