JD Wetherspoon is set to open a new 22-room hotel in Hull at one of its pubs on 23 June.
The development, which cost over £2.5m and will create around 30 new jobs, will be located above The Admiral of the Humber pub which first opened in 2000.
To coincide with the new accommodation, the pub has undergone some refurbishment and redecoration, and a roof terrace beer garden has been added.
Each of the hotel rooms will feature Freeview TV, free Wi-Fi and an ensuite bathroom.
Katie Younger, pub manager, said: “The new hotel is a wonderful addition to The Admiral of the Humber and I am confident it will be a great asset to Hull.”
Eddie Gershon, Wetherspoon spokesman, said: “ Our hotels continue to prove popular with a wide range of customers. The fact that they are located above or alongside our pubs is a great advantage for our guests as they can stay in the hotel and also enjoy food and drink at the Wetherspoon pub too.
“Our hotel rooms are extremely comfortable and offer great facilities at excellent prices.”
