East London based catering hire company Adams has announced it is to be a key sponsor of the forthcoming Appetite Food Festival, the first of its type to be held in Waltham Forest.
Running throughout the month of June, the festival is aimed at food makers of all kinds and food lovers within the borough. “We are delighted to be able to support this important event” said Stef Lowry, director of Adams.
“This is a great match for us, as we not only cater for most of London’s main venues and hospitality events but also for smaller scale, special private and family occasions. Appetite is a great way for us to raise our profile with that in mind. Waltham Forest has for the past few years emerging as a hotbed for original art and now amazing chefs and makers and we are delighted to support this inaugural event,” she continued.
Appetite 2013 is designed to provide a month long celebration of food and food related events with art on the menu. This includes a gourmet food fair, food trails with free tasters, guided food walks, 30 pop up events and 10 different supper events, an edible art installation, art exhibitions and creative workshops, a local ale festival, fairy tale tea parties and community food events. Cuisines include, Palestinian, Pakistani, Goan, Caribbean, Hungarian, South American, Chinese, Italian, vegan menus and dinners created from very local suppliers and produce.
“Adams Catering Hire is well regarded in the catering equipment hire industry and has a reputation of ‘nothing is too much trouble’ and we are thrilled that that they will be a sponsorship partner” said Laura Kerry, festival co-ordinator at Artillery who is managing the event.
“It has been our aim to work with sponsors that can help make the Appetite experience more valuable, professional and accessible for both participants and visitors to the festival. With Adams Catering hire on board we have that, ” she added.
