Staff at the Cavendish Hotel in London are celebrating after raising over £1,300 in support of men’s health.
Male employees at the hotel participated in the annual “Movember” fundraising event – growing moustaches to support the Prostate Cancer Charity. First started in Australia in 2004, Movember has raised millions worldwide and increased awareness about prostate cancer.
Led by general manager Neil Braude, the staff showed off the results of their shave-free month. Commenting on their participation he added: “Movember is a great awareness campaign for men’s health and also great fun for those who took part.”
In addition to the fine display of facial hair, the hotel also had a pub quiz night for staff and put a collection box on the front desk.
