Hand Picked Hotels has announced plans for a “significant refurbishment” of the Fawsley Hall Hotel’s spa and health club.

The £1.5m refurbishment is set to transform the Northamptonshire hotel, with extensive landscaping and a new glazed wellness area.

Currently, plans include the expansion of the outdoor hydro pool with additional heat experiences, as well as an extensive relaxation area overlooking the gardens.

A new coffee shop, including a seating area, will be introduced, which will serve a selection of spa lunches, afternoon teas, champagne and cocktails to guests.

Lesley Bacon, Hand Picked Hotels’ group Health Club and Spa’s manager, said: “I am delighted to be able to share these exciting plans with our hotel and spa guests, and of course our loyal health club members.

“This sizable renovation programme has been carefully designed to provide them with truly first-class facilities both inside and out, and will underline Fawsley Hall’s position as a leading destination for spa breaks and wellness in the Midlands.”
