Two inverness hotels join the WorldHotels brand

WorldHotels has announced a pair of luxury hotels in Inverness have become the latest to join its brand, joining a handful of other luxury hotels throughout Great Britain.

World Hotels celebrates its 50th year this year and the two new hotels, Kingsmill Hotel WorldHotels Elite and Ness Walk Hotel WorldHotels Luxury, both part of the Kingsmills hotel group, join another recent addition to the WorldHotels brand in Scotland, Ten Hill Place Hotel, WorldHotels Distinctive, launched earlier this year.

The brand said Ness Walk is a five-star retreat hotel in Inverness, just 10 minutes from Loch Ness. Originally a 19th Century house, the restored Grade B listed building still retains many of its period features.

In addition, it described The Kingsmills Hotel as a four-star luxury hotel in Inverness. Set in the Scottish Highlands, offering a variety of luxury rooms, dining options and spa and conference facilities.

The WorldHotels brand was acquired by BWH Hotel Group in 2019.

Mark Stanley head of Hotel Development and Retention at BWH Hotel Group, said: “The Inverness properties are perfect examples of BWH Hotel group having brands to suit every hotel and every traveller.

“Luxury is a huge target market for us in 2022 and 2023. We have been extremely busy over the summer months talking to independent luxury hotel operators who are keen to know more about World Hotels powered by BWH Hotel Group. Its new, it’s exciting and we will take that traction into next year.”

Terii Dunne, Business Development director at BWH Hotel Group GB, added: “We’re delighted that WorldHotels continues to go from strength to strength, especially in Scotland where there are so many fantastic properties and hospitality businesses.

“The exciting thing for me is the momentum has not stopped, 2022 is going to be a great year for BWH Hotel Group and our hoteliers across all of our brands.”
