RoomRaccoon, a hotel management system provider, has appointed Peter Deally as its sales representative for the UK and Ireland.

RoomRaccoon said Deally’s appointment will help guide the company’s vision to “become the hotel management system of choice for hoteliers in the region”.

Deally joins the growing team with over 25 years of experience in sales-related roles within the travel and hotel software industry. Based in Dublin, he will provide a direct service to independent hotels, bed and breakfasts and holiday rentals in Ireland, as well as the UK.

RoomRaccoon was founded in the Netherlands in 2017, and in 2018 the company announced its entry into the UK and Ireland and has set a “successful pace” in attracting hotels with 10 -100 rooms despite the pandemic.

Tymen van Dyl, CEO and co-founder of RoomRaccoon, said: “Due to its large hospitality sector, the UK and Ireland continue to represent one of the biggest opportunities for RoomRaccoon. We are excited to expand our representation in the region and continue introducing our market-leading solution to over 32 thousand independent properties.”

This announcement comes following the firm’s “rapid” expansion plan, which will see the company’s global headcount increase by over 100% in the next 18 months.

Deally added: “I am extremely proud to help expand RoomRaccoon’s presence in the Irish and UK market at this dynamic and promising moment in the company’s history. Our goal, now more than ever before, is to empower hoteliers with our easy-to-use system so they can benefit from a more streamlined and profitable way of managing their hospitality business.”
