Christie & Co to market 18 hotels from Coast & Country collection

Located across England, Scotland and Wales the portfolio represents some of the best-known hospitality businesses in their respective markets

Specialist hotel property adviser Christie and Co has been appointed to sell 18 leisure-focused hotels from the Coast and Country Hotel Collection throughout the United Kingdom.

Positioned in leading resort and leisure destinations across England, Scotland and Wales, the portfolio represents some of the best-known hospitality businesses in their respective markets. In many cases, the assets have not been made available on a single asset basis for a generation.

The list of hotels includes Beresford Hotel in Newquay, Broadway Park Hotel in Isle of Wight, Caledonian Hotel in Fort William, The Carlton Hotel in Great Yarmouth, County Hotel in Llandudno, Derwentwater Hotel in Keswick, Dilkhusa Grand in Devon, Esplanade Hotel in Devon, Great Western in Oban, Highland Hotel in Strathpeffer, Imperial Hotel in Tenby, Marine Hotel in Llandudno, New Southlands Hotel in Scarborough, Portpatrick Hotel in Portpatrick, Torbay Hotel in Devon, Valley of the Rocks in Devon, Waverley Castle Hotel in Melrose and Majestic Hotel in Eastbourne. 

Jeremy Jones, head of Hotel Brokerage at Christie and Co, said: “We are delighted to be able to launch these 18 hotels to the open market as such opportunities are rare. Available on a single asset basis, we believe that these opportunities will go some way to meeting the demand from well-funded buyers across the UK.”
