Adagio has announced the appointment of Virginie Barboux as senior vice-president of customers and marketing.
Barboux will specifically take charge of management of the communication, marketing, customer experience, CSR and design functions of the company.
She began her career in the retail sector and moved on to industry where she worked in the personal insurance and wealth management market for 15 years.
As part of this she contributed to the launch of the Skandia life insurance platform on the French market.
Barboux moved into the hotel industry in 2016 and joined Best Western Hotels and Resorts as deputy CEO, in charge of communication, digital and customer experience.
Barboux said: “I am delighted to join Adagio at this important stage in its development. To work with the help of my teams and colleagues to promote and modernise the brand through an ambitious marketing approach, which is both responsible and innovative.”
