Travel Sector Property Group acquires the Victoria Hotel
The property features 16 double en-suite bedrooms and extensive food and beverage space, including The Captains Lounge and the Sea View Orangery and Garden
Entrepreneur Andrew Long’s Travel Sector Property Group has announced the acquisition of the Victoria Hotel on the North Yorkshire coast South of Whitby for an undisclosed amount.
The property was built in the late Victorian era and was featured in the Oscar-winning period movie, Phantom Thread, starring Sir Daniel Day Lewis.
From its elevated vantage point above the seaside village, the Victoria Hotel benefits from views of the sea, beach and cliffs, as well as the surrounding countryside of the North York Moors National Park.
The property features 16 double en-suite bedrooms and extensive food and beverage space, including The Captains Lounge, the main restaurant and bar, and the Sea View Orangery and Garden, which offers guests alfresco dining with panoramic views. The venue is also a popular choice for weddings and events.
