The independently owned Richmond Hill Hotel is set to celebrate its 150th anniversary this year.
The Georgian building is said to have been built in 1726 however began operating as a hotel in 1874.
In 2019, the hotel had a major refurbishment of its144 bedrooms and suites, all designed and modernised whilst retaining many original features.
To celebrate, the hotel will donate 150 afternoon teas to local care homes, spend 150 hours volunteering for local charities, plant 150 trees with The Wildlife Trust and donate 150kg of donations to Shooting Star Children’s Hospice throughout the year.
Furthermore, every month will see one employee receive £150 Amazon gift vouchers.
Charlotte Alldis, marketing director of Richmond Hill Hotel, said: “It’s not very often you get the chance to celebrate 150 years so we’re making the most of the anniversary and celebrating throughout 2024.
“Not only do we want to thank our loyal customers by offering limited edition offers, but it’s also important to give back to our community which is why we’ve set out four considerable objectives to achieve this year as our way to support the local area.”
