The Chester Grosvenor, a five red star hotel and part of the Bespoke Hotels group, has announced the appointment of Neil Butler as its new hotel manager.

Butler brings over 25 years of hospitality experience to The Chester Grosvenor.

He has a “distinguished” career with Bespoke Hotels, having previously served as operations manager at boutique five-star Manchester property Hotel Gotham, and most recently as hotel manager at Hotel Brooklyn Manchester.

Additionally, Butler previously also worked with MacDonald Hotels and Resorts, and notably at Manchester landmark property, The Midland Hotel.

His experience at The Midland Hotel has given him “invaluable insight” into managing historic, city-centre hotels, which closely parallels his new role as hotel manager at The Chester Grosvenor.

Butler said: “I am honoured to join The Chester Grosvenor, a hotel with such a rich heritage and reputation for excellence. Having grown up in North Wales I often visited Chester, so it’s a city close to my heart. I look forward to working with the talented team here to continue delivering exceptional experiences for our guests.”

Richard Grove, chief operating officer for Bespoke Hotels, added: “We are thrilled to welcome Neil Butler to The Chester Grosvenor.

“His hands-on management style, coupled with his extensive industry knowledge and experience, makes him the perfect fit for this role. We are confident that under his leadership, The Chester Grosvenor will continue to thrive as one of the finest hotels in the UK.”
