Hetherley Capital Partners has signed a long-term lease agreement with Extra Motorway Services Areas (MSA) for a 105-bedroom Ibis Budget Beaconsfield Hotel.
The hotel will be directly managed by Hetherley and will continue to operate under the Ibis Budget brand, subject to the terms of a newly-secured franchise agreement between Hetherley and Accor Hotel Services Limited.
The new lease agreement not only secures the long-term operational future of the hotel but also satisfies the commercial objectives of Extra MSA Services.
Charles Scudamore, CEO of Hetherley, said: “We are delighted to collaborate with Extra MSA to provide a strategic lease solution for the Ibis Budget Beaconsfield. This hotel is a high-quality, well-maintained property situated in a prime, high-traffic location, making it an excellent fit for our portfolio. The Beaconsfield area attracts consistent demand, and we believe this property holds significant long-term growth potential.
“This long-term agreement reinforces our strategy of investing in well-located, high-performing assets that can deliver consistent returns. We look forward to a successful relationship with both Extra MSA and Accor as we continue to strengthen our presence in the UK hotel market.”
Tom Dobson, CEO at Extra MSA Group, added: “We’re very pleased to have worked with Hetherley to secure this landmark agreement, which will see them manage the lease at the Ibis Budget Beaconsfield Hotel, located at one of our most visited service stations in the country.
“We’re keen to continue expanding our strategic partnerships with operators who will bring added value to our amenities and enhance the customer experience, making our ‘Extra mile’ promise a reality to all visitors.”
