Supercity Aparthotels has opened its fifth property with its 19-storey Supercity Church Street located in Manchester’s Northern Quarter.
A “blend of boutique hotel meets serviced apartment”, Church Street features 69 contemporary one and two-bedroom apartments, with a number of the suites including panoramic views of the city from private roof terraces or balconies.
Each suite at Church Street offers a living area, fully equipped kitchen and bedroom that is decorated with bespoke art. The hotel’s hallways are also adorned with Manchester’s iconic ‘worker bees’ along with a statement ‘bellboy’ piece curated by stencil artist David Schmidt.
Church Street offers a 24-hour reception, an onsite gym, Sky TV and a weekly housekeeping service. Personal training sessions, extra house-keeping and dry-cleaning services are also available.
Announcing the opening, Supercity said: “Ideally located in the heart of Manchester’s busy Northern Quarter, an area known for its exciting nightlife and music culture, Church Street is surrounded by an array of independent bars and restaurants, so guests are spoilt for choice no matter what they’re looking for.”
The aparthotel group also operates four aparthotels in London and is set to open its sixth property in Brighton.
