Criterion Capital has announced the opening of its fourth Zedwell hotel in the heart of Knightsbridge within the historic Scotch House.

Zedwell Knightsbridge is part of Criterion Capital’s ambitious plan to create 8,500 rooms by 2028, including new Zedwell locations in the City of London, York, Manchester, and Edinburgh.

Situated in the heart of Knightsbridge’s office and retail district, Zedwell Knightsbridge puts Harrods, Harvey Nichols, and the recently redeveloped Sloane Street on its doorstep. Just a stone’s throw from Hyde Park, and with easy access to South Kensington’s cultural attractions, including Exhibition Road’s museums, the new Zedwell caters to both leisure and business travellers.

Knightsbridge follows the success of Zedwell’s other flagship London locations – Piccadilly Circus, Tottenham Court Road, and Greenwich.

Zedwell Knightsbridge showcases the brand’s upgraded sleep-centric ‘cocoons’. Featuring soundproofed walls, purified air, body-cushioning mattresses, and ambient lighting, each cocoon is tailored to provide a “rejuvenating retreat” from the city’s hustle and bustle.

Criterion said sustainability drives this project, with Zedwell committed to meeting the growing demand for environmentally responsible travel. This opening also reflects Criterion Capital’s broader vision for its Knightsbridge Green Estate, which includes significant investment in enhancing the streetscape and commercial units for the benefit of visitors, businesses, and local residents.
