Conor O’Leary has revealed that he has been promoted to group managing director across The Gleneagles Hotel in Perthshire and Estelle Manor in Oxfordshire.

O’Leary revealed that he had been in the position since January but has now confirmed it in a post on LinkedIn.

He has served as the managing director of Gleneagles since 2019 having first joined the hotel in 2016 as hotel manager. He was promoted to general manager a year later, before stepping into the role of MD.

In his career he has held roles at hotels including The Ritz, Andaz Liverpool Street and Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill, alongside a tenure in the Middle East at the Grand Hyatt Dubai.

O’Leary said on LinkedIn: “Thank you for all the kind messages, looking forward to continuing the adventures with the brilliant team at Gleneagles and excited to be now also working with the team at Estelle Manor.”

Estelle Manor was founded by Sharan Pasricha and launched in spring 2023 to be the countryside companion to the Maison Estelle private members club in Mayfair.

The hotel is set on an 85-acre estate and is home to four restaurants, a 3,000 sq mtr Roman-inspired bath house, 108 bedrooms and a gym with a class studio and padel courts, plus a kids’ club.

It recently opened a new events space, Fallow House, a new 540 sq mtr, two-storey venue situated at the centre of the 85-acre estate, targeting larger groups of up to 100 people.

Fallow House also has an arrival hall, three meeting rooms, two bars and a private dining room for up to 10 people, plus a double-height Grand Room.

Pasricha is also the founder of Ennismore which has a portfolio of brands including The Hoxton, Mama Shelter, Tribe and SLS.
