Richmond Hill hotel undergoes £6.7m refurb

Richmond Hill Hotel, is undergoing a £6.7m refurbishment programme, which will bring the Georgian townhouse to a 144-bedroom property.

Each of the London hotel’s 69 Georgian bedrooms are being individually designed to complement its existing ‘Hill Collection’ rooms. Designer blacksmith Joshua de Lisle has been commissioned to create bespoke detailing in the bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms.

The refurbishment programme has been devised by award-winning K&H Design. The bedrooms will also feature Heal’s king-size beds with furniture commissioned to fit within each of the individual room styles. Deep free-standing baths or walk-in showers will also be installed.

As part of the refurbishment Richmond Hill Hotel will also implement a series of sustainability initiatives in a “continued effort to reduce its carbon footprint”. Green initiatives such as energy saving key systems, dimmers and low energy lighting have been installed wherever possible. Richmond Hill Hotel is also undertaking a major remodelling of its food and beverage outlet.
