Luxury five-star hotel Cameron House on Loch Lomond has announced the appointment of Gary Rice to hotel general manager.
With over 28 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Rice previously served as director of operations at Cameron House, playing a key role in enhancing the resort’s reputation and overall performance.
In his new position, he will work closely with managing director, Will Oakley, to further elevate the hotel and resort. He will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, covering accommodation, leisure, marina and on-site experiences, plus food and beverage, while also focusing on team development, recruitment and retention.
Located on the banks of Loch Lomond in Trossachs National Park, Cameron House is home to 208 bedrooms including 28 suites, multiple restaurants and bars, a spa, marina and two golf courses, including the 18-hole Championship course, The Carrick. Cameron Lodges also located within the wider resort include 115 self-catered lodges, cottages and apartments.
On his appointment, Rice said: “It’s an honour to step into the role of general manager. I’m focused on leading the talented team to deliver excellence at every level, creating exceptional experiences for every guest and upholding the highest standards of service for which Cameron House is known for.”
Oakley added: “Gary’s promotion is incredibly well-deserved. He has demonstrated unwavering commitment since joining and has helped shape a positive and high-performing culture. I am confident that under his leadership, the hotel will continue to flourish.”
