Belton Woods Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort in Lincolnshire has completed a £250,000 refurbishment of its largest events space, the Oaks Suite.

The work is aimed at strengthening the resort’s position in the meetings and events sector by providing a contemporary venue for both corporate and social occasions.

Upgrades include a redesigned lobby with a sweeping staircase, new carpeting and décor, and refreshed bar and break-out areas. The suite itself retains its oak doors and wall features but has been updated with new lighting and digital signage to allow organisers to customise the space to different colour schemes and themes.

The resort, which has held the Venue Verdict Gold Standard Award since 2017, said the investment enhances the flexibility of its flagship conference and banquet facilities.

Michael Stenson, general manager, said: “This refurbishment, combined with the dedication and professionalism of the Belton Woods team, reflects our commitment to providing exceptional event experiences, and we’re confident our guests will be impressed by the transformation.”

Lindsay Duff, event and groups sales manager, added: “This transformation has elevated the space into a modern, elegant and versatile venue, perfect for everything from corporate events to special celebrations.”

Part of the QHotels Collection, Belton Woods is located near Grantham with access to the A1 and East Coast Mainline. The group operates 19 hotels and resorts across the UK.
