Award-winning restaurant opens 16-room hotel

In this episode we speak to Anthony Hunt, partner and co-head of Corporate Real Estate at law firm Howard Kennedy. The Baraset Barn Restaurant and Bar has unveiled its new hotel, offering 16 individually-designed bedrooms.

The boutique Baraset Barn Hotel is housed in a spacious barn conversion, designed by owner Sue Salisbury and her design partner Jess Earl with each featuring floor to ceiling windows and “luxurious modern interiors”.

The hotel has opened alongside the award-winning restaurant also housed in an “atmospheric historic barn”.

The space is enhanced by classic materials including oak, granite and pewter, designed to compliment the barn’s 200-year history whilst adding a “modern influence”. The hotel’s restaurant includes a number of dining areas to choose from, a raised terrace and courtyard garden for alfresco dining, conservatory bar and two private dining rooms ideal for business functions or family celebrations.

The hotel is located in Alveston village, former home to J B Priestly and just 2.5 miles outside Stratford-upon-Avon, near the famous Royal Shakespeare Company.
