Iconic Hotels and Resorts has appointed Yasmin Boromand as its new group director of people and culture, effective from 8 June 2026.
Boromand joins the hospitality business following its rebranding from Iconic Luxury Hotels in February. The appointment follows the recent recruitment of former Auberge Collection executive Shan Kanagasingham as chief operating officer.
The human resources specialist most recently worked as global director of talent acquisition and HR strategy at Dream International, managing personnel across more than 80 restaurants in 18 countries. Boromand previously served as global director of people and organisational development for the Dorchester Collection, overseeing nine luxury hotels.
The appointment comes ahead of broader operational expansion plans for the group. The company intends to launch a new learning and development academy alongside a graduate training programme later this year.
The initial portfolio for the group comprises 14 properties, with 10 located in the UK and four spread across the US and Europe.
Chief operating officer of Iconic Hotels and Resorts Shan Kanagasingham said: “We are delighted to welcome Yasmin to Iconic Hotels and Resorts. Her experience across globally renowned luxury brands, combined with her ability to cultivate high-performing, people-first cultures, makes her ideally placed to lead our People and Culture strategy as we continue to evolve and grow.”
Boromand added: “I am thrilled to be joining Iconic Hotels and Resorts at such an exciting moment. I look forward to working closely with the teams to further strengthen a culture where people feel valued, supported and inspired to deliver exceptional experiences.”
