Gosforth Hall, a 17th Century coaching inn situated in the Lake District, has been brought to the property market for £1.8m.
The hotel has 19 en-suite letting bedrooms, six of which are located in the main property, and include a “wealth of original features” such as sandstone walls, wooden beams, and fireplaces.
The remaining 13 bedrooms are housed within a modern purpose-built annex, which also offers two communal lounge/kitchen areas.
The property also has an “extensive” food and beverage offering with a dedicated bar snug, separate resident’s lounge for 18 patrons and a restaurant accommodating 36 diners.
The business has been owned and operated by Rod and Barbara Davies for the past 18 years and is being offered to the market as a retirement sale.
Barbara said: “It’s been such a pleasure building a successful business in such a beautiful part of the lake district. The memories we will take will only be equaled by the friends we have made.”
