Butcombe Pub and Inns has opened The Swan Inn following a “major renovation” to offer nine new bedrooms.
Butcombe Pub & Inns has led the “extensive” renovation, expanding the original building to include nine new bedrooms – five in the main house and four sitting separately in a converted barn within the grounds – in partnership with design and build specialists Concorde BGW.
The new bedroom interiors blend “luxurious” soft furnishings with a traditional country-inspired colour palette designed to bring a sense of the outdoors in.
A new lounge for staying guests has also been created and hosts an honesty bar equipped with snacks and filtered water.
The Swan is the seventh addition to the growing Butcombe Pub & Inns collection, part of the Liberation Group, in the last three years. The group added The Swan’s refurbishment represents a “milestone” in Butcombe’s growing collection of pubs with rooms and boutique accommodation offering.

“It’s so rewarding to see the development since we took ownership in 2018 and we can’t wait to welcome the locals and our first overnight guests to experience The Swan’s new offering.”
